Abstract Conclusions:

This review emphasizes neurally mediated syncope, but other etiologies are reviewed to complete the spectrum encountered by pediatric cardiologists. Some clues are provided to distinguish the more common and benign forms of syncope from those due to significant underlying heart disease.
